Recommendations:

  1. Protect the cylinder circuit with a relief valve set at 200 bar.
  2. Check the oil cleanliness (pollution) and prevent contamination (use a filter on the cylinder circuit).
  3. Bleed the circuit by slightly loosening the cylinder fittings before starting-up.
  4. Avoid welding on the cylinder tube.
  5. Before welding on the rod or bottom, dismount the cylinder.
  6. For long-term storage, avoid outdoor storage if possible. If unavoidable, keep the rod completely retracted or greased.
  7. During high-pressure cleaning or blasting, protect the rod and oil ports.
  8. For double-acting cylinders used as single acting, connect the non-used oil port to the tank.
  9. When dismounting the cylinder, note that the piston is screwed onto the rod end and fixed with industrial glue. Use industrial glue when reassembling.
