Recommendations:

  1. Circuit Protection:
    • Use a relief valve set at 200 bar to protect the hydraulic cylinder circuit.
  2. Oil Cleanliness:
    • Ensure the hydraulic oil is clean and free from contaminants by using a filter on the cylinder circuit.
  3. Bleeding the Circuit:
    • Loosen the cylinder fittings slightly before startup to bleed the circuit.
  4. Welding Precautions:
    • Do not weld on the hydraulic cylinder tube. If welding on the rod or bottom is necessary, dismount the cylinder first.
  5. Storage:
    • Avoid outdoor storage. If unavoidable, keep the rod retracted or greased.
  6. High-Pressure Cleaning:
    • Protect the rod and oil ports during high-pressure cleaning or blasting.
  7. Single Acting Operation:
    • For double-acting cylinders used as single-acting, connect the unused oil port to the tank.
  8. Cylinder Dismounting:
    • Note that the piston is screwed onto the rod end and fixed with industrial glue. Use industrial glue again when remounting.
