Recommendations:

  1. Pressure Relief:
    • Protect the cylinder circuit with a relief valve set at 200 bar.
  2. Oil Cleanliness:
    • Ensure oil cleanliness and prevent contamination by placing a filter on the cylinder circuit.
  3. Bleeding:
    • Bleed the circuit by slightly loosening the cylinder fittings before startup.
  4. Welding:
    • Avoid welding on the cylinder tube.
    • Before welding on the rod or bottom, dismount the cylinder.
  5. Storage:
    • For long-term storage, avoid outdoor conditions. If unavoidable, ensure the rod is fully retracted or greased.
  6. Cleaning:
    • During high-pressure cleaning or blasting, protect the rod and oil ports adequately.
  7. Single Acting Operation:
    • If used as a single-acting cylinder, connect the non-used oil port to the tank.
  8. Dismounting:
    • Note that the piston is screwed onto the rod end and fixed with industrial glue. Use industrial glue when reassembling.
