Recommendations for Use:

  1. Relief Valve: Protect the cylinder circuit with a relief valve set at 200 bar.
  2. Oil Cleanliness: Ensure the oil is clean and free from contaminants (use a filter on the cylinder circuit).
  3. Bleeding the Circuit: Bleed the circuit by slightly loosening the cylinder fittings before start-up.
  4. Welding Precautions:
    • Do not weld on the cylinder tube.
    • If welding on the rod or bottom, dismount the cylinder first.
  5. Storage:
    • Avoid outdoor storage.
    • If outdoor storage is unavoidable, ensure the rod is fully retracted or greased.
  6. Cleaning:
    • Protect the rod and oil ports during high-pressure cleaning or blasting.
  7. Double-Acting Cylinders: For double-acting cylinders used as single-acting, connect the unused oil port to the tank.
  8. Dismounting the Cylinder: The piston is screwed onto the rod end and secured with industrial glue; use industrial glue when reassembling.
